Vatsyayana suggests that women should read Kamasutra before getting married, contrary to the popular social beliefs. It teaches the woman about managing her man and life after marriage. It also teaches 64 forms of art that help her to become more desirable. The most important thing is that the women who are smarter will be more sexually attractive, a fact that the society has today seemed to ignore.
Size does matter
Kamasutra says that the size of the penis does matter. You are either a hare, bull or horse man, according to the size of your penis. Not only the size of the penis, the size of the woman’s vagina matters too. And with a perfect match, both the partner can enjoy better sex. This is how it is classified:

Kamastura says that a man must shave his face regularly and get rid of hair in other parts of the body so that a man can have healthy union with his partner.
Kamasutra talks about approaching and enticing women
While he main focus is on sex, Kamasutra tells men about the way they should entice a woman and teaches the ways they should touch and express their desire to have sex. It says that shoulder is one of the most crucial part of sexual desire, and that a man should start by touching the woman’s shoulder and seek for the signs that reciprocates the desire. The list then goes long, one must really read Kamasutra to understand the type of touches that can keep women interested.
Kamasutra also gives embracing lessons
Kamasutra posits that the start of intercourse starts with an embrace. It teachers how men can approach women for embracing and how women can reciprocate for the same. There are eight forms of embracing according to Kamasutra: Jataveshtitaka (the twining of a creeper), Vrikshadhirudhaka (the climbing of a tree), Tila-Tandulaka (the mixture of sesame seed with rice), Kshinarika (milk and water embrace), the thigh embrace, the breast embrace, and the head embrace. It is all part of foreplay.
The Lesson on Kissing
The Kamastura prescribes three specific ways of kissing – the throbbing kiss, the measured kiss and the brushing kiss. It elaborates on the techniques to kiss forehead, breasts, mouth, clitoris, hair, chest and the inside of the mouth. There are also various types of intensity, place and involvement of bites mentioned while kissing.
The 64 acts
The sexual intercourse in Kamasutra in fact is divided into 64 acts, and penetration is one of them. IT talks about stimulation, embracing, caressing, kissing, scratching, biting, positions for sex, slapping, types of moans, oral sex, how to start and end the process – all divided into 64 acts.
Scratching is important
Kamasutra recommend women to scratch their partners. There are eight varieties of scratching mentioned – half-moon, circle, line, tiger’s claw, peacock’s foot, hare’s leap, discus, and lotus leap. For men, however, Kamasutra on recommends biting in times of extreme pleasure.
Women to climax first
Kamasutra agrees to the fact that women can have multiple orgasms during intercourse. Thus, the sex intensifies when the woman climaxes first. However, it does suggest that women can and should satisfy her man after one orgasm too. There are multiple ways that Kamasutra suggests women can have a mind-blowing orgasm.
There is more than just penetration
At the end of the book, it talks about how a man can reach orgasm. But for women, the entire act is sensual and more than just penetration. Most men think that making a woman orgasm is the ultimate act, but in fact, tending the need to both physiological and sexual is the best way to satisfy the sexual urge. It means that it is more about the journey than the destination. The author compares the sexual desire of women to an itch, stating that what you do throughout the process is satisfying.
