1. Adam Schlesinger, Song Writer
The song writer and bass guitarist, also the founder of the band Fountains of Wayne, died of complications from Coronavirus on 1st April, 2020 at the age of 52.
2. Tom Hanks/Rita Wilson, Actor
The academy award winning actor and his wife, both 62, tested positive for Coronavirus after a visit to Australia. They observed self-isolation and were back home as of March 28th.
3. Idris Elba, Actor/Musician
In a video posted on social media on March 16, the British actor and musician announced that he had contracted coronavirus. His wife Sabrina Dhowre Elba also tested positive despite being asymptomatic.
4. Olga Kurylenko, Actor
The french actress who featured in the Bond film “Quantum of Solace” announced on Instagram on March 15 that she had fever and fatigue and tested positive for Coronavirus. She urged everyone to take this seriously and practice social distancing.
5. Rachel Mathews, Actor
The Frozen-2 star, Rachel Mathews, 26, also tested positive for Coronavirus. She announced it on her Instagram handle and that she was in quarantine since the past week.
6. Kanika Kapoor, Singer
The Indian singer best known for her song ‘Babydoll’, tested positive for the 5th time. The 41 year old is currently undergoing treatment. She had returned from London, from where she had contracted the virus.
7. John Prine, Singer
The influential singer-songwriter was hospitalised and in a critical condition on March 26. He was diagnosed with Covid-19. He is currently stable.
8. Plácido Domingo, Opera Singer
The 78 year old Opera star announced on Facebook about his condition. He developed fever and cough symptoms and was hospitalised. He is home now and recovering.
9. Kristofer Hivju, Actor
After developing mild symptoms, the actor announced on Instagram that he tested positive for Coronavirus. The Game of Thrones actor is under isolation along with his family.
10. Daniel Dae Kim, Actor
The American actor while shooting in New York contracted the virus. He posted a video on Instagram to inform his fans about it. Kim, 51 is best known for his roles on the television shows “Lost” and “Hawaii Five-0”.
