2. The longest Oscars show took place in 2002 and was hosted by Whoopi Goldberg. The ceremony clocked in at four hours and 23 minutes.


3. Liza Minnelli is the only Oscar winner whose parents (Judy Garland and Vincente Minnelli) also won Academy Awards.


4. Titanic (1997) holds the record for the most nominations in one year with 14 Nominations
